The Bougainvillea Suite is inspired by the bougainvillea shrub which can be found in almost every garden in the UAE. It’s unfailing blooms just scream sunshine!

This is a bright and airy suite with modern typography for a clean, feminine, feel.

​The calligraphy is written with watercolour paints which give a luminous, multi tone finish. The watercolour artwork reflects the bougainvillea shrub and features frangipani trees.

​The suite is digitally printed on premium paper made from 100% recycled cotton in bright white. There is nothing to match the cushion feel of this paper! It has matching envelopes made from thick and luxurious recycled paper. All envelopes come with your return address printed on the back.

​I will design a monogram for you using the first letters of your first names along with hand written calligraphy of your first names.

The wording of the text on the individual items is also fully customisable, as long as it fits within the given spacing for the item.

The Invitation Envelopes, Save the Date Envelopes and Thank You Card Envelopes all come with your monogram and address printed on the back flap. The RSVP envelopes will have your return address printed on the front and monogram printed on the back.

For an additional fee, you can add finishing touches such as a vellum belly band with your guests’ names hand written on them, envelope liners, vintage stamps, wax seals, hand addressed calligraphy on envelopes and Feather Paper’s assembly service.

WHAT THESE TERMS COVER - these are the terms and conditions on which I will supply products to you, whether these are goods, services or digital content. HOW YOU CAN CONTACT ME Feather Paper is the trading name used by me, Robyn Marie, an artist trading through Little Majlis. I am based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and you can contact me via Little Majlis 'contact shop' button on this page. HOW I MAY CONTACT YOU If I have to contact you I will do so via Little Majlis. MY CONTRACT WITH YOU HOW I WILL ACCEPT YOUR ORDER My acceptance of your order on Little Majlis will take place when I message you to confirm your order, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. IF I CANNOT ACCEPT YOUR ORDER. If I am unable to accept your order, I will inform you of this in writing and will not charge you for the product. This might be because (but is not limited to) the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which Feather Paper could not reasonably plan for, because Feather Paper has identified an error in the price or description of the product or because Feather Paper is unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified. OUR PRODUCTS' ORIGINALITY Feather Paper will not reproduce the work of other artists or produce calligraphy to match another calligrapher’s hand. PRODUCTS MAY VARY SLIGHTLY FROM THEIR PICTURES The images of the products on our website and in any design proofs provided to you are for illustrative purposes only. Although Feather Paper has made every effort to display the colours accurately, Feather Paper cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images. NATURAL VARIATION All work is done by hand which means that items may not identical from one to another (which is what makes it special, no?) There may be slight variations in colour, size, style, centering, spacing, and margins through out the order. Ink colours are also mixed by hand which means that it is almost impossible to get them to match the printed script exactly. The nature of hand addressed envelopes will vary from that of printed addresses. Each address will vary depending on the letters, length of names, street names, city and country lengths and will appear visually different from one another when compared. Addresses with 4-5 lines of text will look different from those with fewer. Please have this expectation set when ordering hand calligraphy. Each envelope is a single work of art, and must be appreciated as such. PRODUCT PACKAGING MAY VARY The packaging of the product may vary from that shown in images on our website. YOUR RIGHTS TO MAKE CHANGES If you wish to make a change to the product you have ordered please contact me. I will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible I will let you know about any changes to the price of the product, the timing of supply or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change. For bespoke orders listed on Little Majlis, Feather Paper is happy to consult about layout, design, ink colour, paper, and other aesthetic considerations. YOUR PROOFING RESPONSIBILITIES It is extremely important that you thoroughly check your proofs for correct times, dates, and spelling of all words, including names and places, in addition to the design elements. Once the final approval for the final proof is received, you are giving Feather Paper the permission to print all pieces as they appear on your final proof. Once approved, no changes can be made and Feather Paper will not be held responsible for any errors found after your final approval. CHANGES TO QUANTITY Feather Paper will accept over runs that do not exceed 2% of the quantity ordered on all jobs. Feather Paper will bill for the actual quantity delivered within this tolerance. Within this 2% tolerance, no additional run fees will be applied, but the increase of quantity will be shown on the final invoice. If additional pieces are needed above the contracted amount after the products have been ordered, the full cost of the total of the additional pieces will be incurred by the client. Please be sure to order as many as you think you will need. Once a final quantity has been contracted and supplies have been ordered, that number is not subject to decrease. If the number drops, please contact us immediately. If supplies have already been ordered, you may be able to apply the dollar difference to additional pieces or to a future payment, depending on the nature of the project. If the nature of the project does not allow for this, you may forfeit the remaining difference. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU MAKE CHANGES Due to the handmade nature of this product, I cannot accept any changes to your order once I have started work on it. OUR RIGHTS TO MAKE CHANGES MINOR CHANGES TO THE PRODUCTS Feather Paper may change small aspect of the product: A. to accommodate variations in stock and availability with our suppliers and preferred printers; B. to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; and C. to implement minor technical adjustments and improvements. MORE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO THE PRODUCTS AND THESE TERMS In addition, Feather Paper may make the following changes to the product, but if Feather Paper does so Feather Paper will notify you before any decisions are taken: A. a change to the materials used if there are problems with suppliers B. variations in colours of materials used due to the handmade nature of the materials PROVIDING THE PRODUCTS DELIVERY COSTS The costs of delivery will be as displayed to you on our Little Majlis shop or advised to you in writing (as appropriate). WHEN FEATHER PAPER WILL PROVIDE THE PRODUCTS. If the products are pre-made such as samples, Feather Paper will deliver them to you as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within 30 days after the day on which Feather Paper accepts your order. I will contact you with an estimated delivery date but I aim to ship orders within the UAE within 10 days. If the products are one-off services, I will begin the services on the date set out in the order. The shipping goal for the services is as told to you during the order process. I DO NOT ACCEPT RUSH ORDERS Feather Paper is about slowing down and enjoying the process, Feather Paper does not accept rush orders. DELAYS Feather Paper is not responsible for delays outside our control. If supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control then Feather Paper will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and Feather Paper will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided Feather Paper does this it will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay (i.e. a delay beyond the date of your event) you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DO NOT GIVE THE REQUIRED INFORMATION I may need certain information from you so that Feather Paper can supply the products to you, for example, the event time, location and names and addresses of guests. If so, this will have been stated in the description of the products on our website. i will contact you in writing to ask for this information. If you do not give me this information by the date Feather Paper specifies to you, or if you give incomplete or incorrect information, the contract may be delayed and Feather Paper may either end the contract or make an additional charge of a reasonable sum to compensate us for any extra work that is required as a result. Feather Paper will not be responsible for supplying the products late or not supplying any part of them if this is caused by you not giving us the information Feather Paper needs within a reasonable time of us asking for it. WHEN YOU BECOME RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GOODS A product which is goods will be your responsibility from the time it is delivered to the address you gave us. REASONS WHY FEATHER PAPER MAY SUSPEND THE SUPPLY OF PRODUCTS TO YOU: A. to accommodate planned and unplanned holidays and or sickness B. to deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes; C. to update the product to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; D. to make changes to the product as requested by you or notified by us to you. FEATHER PAPER MAY SUSPEND SUPPLY OF THE PRODUCTS IF YOU DO NOT PAY. If you do not pay us for the products when you are supposed to and you still do not make payment within 10 days of being reminded that payment is due, Feather Paper will suspend supply of the products until you have paid the outstanding amounts. Feather Paper will contact you to tell you Feather Paper are suspending supply of the products. Feather Paper will not charge you for the products during the period for which they are suspended. YOUR RIGHTS TO END THE CONTRACT YOU CAN ALWAYS END YOUR CONTRACT WITH US Your rights when you end the contract will depend on what you have bought, whether there is anything wrong with it, how Feather Paper are performing and when you decide to end the contract. HOW TO END THE CONTRACT WITH US (INCLUDING IF YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND) TELL US YOU WANT TO END THE CONTRACT To end the contract with us, please let me know by email. ENDING A CONTRACT FOR BESPOKE OR CUSTOMISED ITEMS ARE PROVIDED TO YOU You may change your mind in respect of your Feather Paper stationery and end the contract for bespoke or customised items before Feather Paper begins work on the item. Please note that Feather Paper will refund you for any services that you have paid for but Feather Paper has not yet carried out. Feather Paper will also refund you the cost of products to the extent that any costs relating to such products have not yet been incurred by Feather Paper. All refunds are subject to the deductions listed below. ENDING A CONTRACT FOR BESPOKE OR SEMI CUSTOM SUITES AFTER THE ITEMS ARE PROVIDED TO YOU Due to the handmade and custom nature of Feather Paper goods and services, you do not have a right to change your mind in respect of services, once these have been completed or products that have been delivered to you. You may end the contract in the unlikely event that products are defective AND such defects are the responsibility of Feather Paper. Feather Paper has no responsibility or liability for defects or damaged caused in shipping. RETURNING PRODUCTS AFTER ENDING THE CONTRACT If you end the contract because products are defective or not what you ordered after they have been dispatched to you or you have received them, you must return them to us. Feather Paper will pay for the cost of returning the goods to Feather Paper, by courier. WHAT FEATHER PAPER CHARGES FOR COLLECTION If you are responsible for the costs of return, Feather Paper will arrange for a courier to collect the product from you, Feather Paper will charge you the direct cost to us of collection. HOW FEATHER PAPER WILL REFUND YOU. Feather Paper will refund you if you have purchased goods from our Little Majlis site that are faulty or incorrect on delivery. In this case, Feather Paper will refund you the price you paid for the products including delivery costs provided always that you return the goods to Feather Paper. Feather Paper will refund you by the method you used for payment. However, Feather Paper may make deductions from the price, as described below. DEDUCTIONS FROM REFUNDS Feather Paper may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop. Where the product is a service, Feather Paper may deduct from any refund an amount for the supply of the service for the period for which it was supplied, ending with the time when you told us you had changed your mind. The amount will be in proportion to what has been supplied, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract. WHEN YOUR REFUND WILL BE MADE Feather Paper will make any refunds due to you through Little Majlis and in accordance with Little Majlis' terms and conditions. OUR RIGHTS TO END THE CONTRACT FEATHER PAPER MAY END THE CONTRACT IF YOU BREAK IT. Feather Paper may also end the contract for a product at any time by writing to you if: A. you do not make any payment to Feather Paper when it is due and you still do not make payment within 10 days of us reminding you that payment is due; B. you do not, within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with information that is necessary for us to provide the products; C. you do not, within a reasonable time, allow us to deliver the products to you or collect them from us; D. you do not, within a reasonable time, allow us access to your premises to supply the services. YOU MUST COMPENSATE FEATHER PAPER IF YOU BREAK THE CONTRACT If Feather Paper ends the contract because you have broken it, Feather Paper will refund any money you have paid in advance for products have not been provided but may deduct or charge you the costs Feather Paper will incur as a result of your breaking the contract. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT HOW TO TELL US ABOUT PROBLEMS If you have any questions or complaints about the product, please contact me via Little Majlis. If a fault lies with Feather Paper, I will do my utmost to correct it in good time. PRICE AND PAYMENT WHERE TO FIND THE PRICE FOR THE PRODUCT The price of the product will either be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order through Little Majlis or as otherwise advised to you by a customised proposal. Feather Paper produces a luxury product made by skilled artisanal hands. As such all of our bespoke work is priced on a case-by-case basis depending on the design’s complexity and reflecting the craftsmanship involved. FEATHER PAPER DOES NOT OFFER DISCOUNTS Feather Paper takes all reasonable care to ensure that all prices are accurate. However please see the paragraph below for what happens if Feather Paper discovers an error in the price of the product you order. WHAT HAPPENS IF FEATHER PAPER GOT THE PRICE WRONG It is always possible that, despite best efforts, some of the products S sell may be incorrectly priced. Feather Paper will normally check prices before accepting your order so that, where the product’s correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, Feather Paper will charge the lower amount. If the product’s correct price at your order date is higher than the price stated to you, Feather Paper will contact you for your instructions before Feather Paper accepts your order. If Feather Paper accepts and processes your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mispricing, we may end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of any goods provided to you. WHEN YOU MUST PAY AND HOW YOU MUST PAY You must pay when checking out of the Little Majlis store. All products must be paid in full before Feather Paper will begin work on the items and/or dispatch the product to you. CLIENT REQUESTED CHANGES WILL BE CHARGED AS ADDITIONAL ITEMS If you request any changes to the design or production of your stationery that is not specifically included in the listing, you will be notified of any price changes and asked to pay the difference through Little Majlis. Once a final quantity has been contracted and supplies have been ordered, that number is not subject to decrease. If the number drops, please contact us immediately. If supplies have already been ordered, you may be able to apply the dollar difference to additional pieces or to a future payment, depending on the nature of the project. If the nature of the project does not allow for this, you may forfeit the remaining difference. If at any time, the job changes to an extent that substantially alters the specifications as described in the original price (by written agreement only), Feather Paper will submit a revised price which will have to be agreed and paid before Feather Paper continues work. FEATHER PAPER CAN CHARGE INTEREST IF YOU PAY LATE If you do not make any payment to us by the due date Feather Paper is entitled to charge interest to you on the overdue amount at the rate prescribed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre. OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY YOU FEATHER PAPER ARE RESPONSIBLE TO YOU FOR FORESEEABLE LOSS AND DAMAGE CAUSED BY US If Feather Paper fails to comply with these terms, Feather Paper is responsible for actual, evidenced and direct loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract. Feather Paper is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable, is indirect, consequential or is not evidenced by you. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both Feather Paper and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the sales process. FEATHER PAPER DO NOT EXCLUDE OR LIMIT IN ANY WAY OUR LIABILITY TO YOU WHERE IT WOULD BE UNLAWFUL TO DO SO This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. FEATHER PAPER ARE NOT LIABLE FOR BUSINESS LOSSES If you use Feather Paper products or services for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose Feather Paper will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. CALLIGRAPHY AND THE POST Postal systems read envelopes electronically. Due to the nature of calligraphy, some addresses or calligraphy styles will be difficult to read when put through a postal system, as is the nature with any hand written address. Feather Paper accepts no responsibility for the failure of any envelopes to be delivered through a postal system. Feather Paper is NOT responsible for resending, reprinting or reimbursing for invitations or addresses that do not make it to their intended address. Please remember that, as with any mass mailing, you are likely to have a percentage of your pieces that are not delivered. Please check your address list carefully to ensure all your addresses are correct to minimise this scenario. You may wish to order an additional 5% of your pieces to ensure additional pieces are available if needed for remaining ADDRESS LISTS Guest names and addresses must be submitted exactly as they should be produced in calligraphy. This includes formal titles, capitalisation, abbreviations, and punctuation. Guest and address lists must be typed and numbered, and submitted in an editable format. Please submit address lists in a Word or Pages document and write addresses in stacked format with line breaks, just as they should be on the envelopes. Feather Paper will not accept address lists in spreadsheets or table format. Proof read and finalise all text and guest lists before submitting them because the text will be copied faithfully. Your addresses will be written EXACTLY as they appear on your address list. Feather Paper will not make etiquette or spelling corrections. PAPER AND MATERIAL A 20% client-provided materials allowance is required for orders using standard papers. A 30% client-provided materials allowance is required for orders using hand made paper and unorthodox substrates (e.g. leaves, tiles, cloth). Large items on chalkboard, wood, and mirror are not subject to the materials allowance. Calligraphy and specialist printing requires specific surfaces. For this reason, and to ensure that the materials align with our eco conscious approach, Feather Paper will supply all paper materials. Feather Paper does not work with client provided paper, ink or other materials. Use of metallic ink, more than one ink colour in a single design, or complex flourishing may incur an additional fee. Feather Paper uses materials that have been created using environmentally aware practices, wherever possible. I select materials from suppliers that demonstrate eco conscious practices such as using wind or hydro energy to power mills, using FSC certified wood or industrial waste material to make paper, using plant based dyes and recycling pre-used materials. LETTERPRESS PLATES All letterpress plates remain the sole property of Feather Paper after printing is complete. Plates using motifs or artwork are copyright of Feather Paper and are not available for purchase. HOW FEATHER PAPER MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION HOW FEATHER PAPER MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION Feather Paper will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy which is available on our website. SOCIAL MEDIA Feather Paper may post photos, at its discretion, of daily work on social media platforms. Client/guest personal information will not be shared and any items showing specific details (i.e. an actual save-the-date or invitation) will not be shared until after the event date. OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS FEATHER PAPER MAY TRANSFER THIS AGREEMENT TO SOMEONE ELSE Feather Paper may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. Feather Paper will always tell you in writing if this happens and Feather Paper will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre. YOU MAY NOT TRANSFER YOUR RIGHTS TO SOMEONE ELSE You may not transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms to another person. NOBODY ELSE HAS ANY RIGHTS UNDER YOUR CONTRACT Your Feather Paper contract is between you and Robyn Marie. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms. IF A COURT FINDS PART OF THIS CONTRACT ILLEGAL, THE REST WILL CONTINUE IN FORCE Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect. EVEN IF FEATHER PAPER DELAYs IN ENFORCING THIS CONTRACT, FEATHER PAPER CAN STILL ENFORCE IT LATER If Feather Paper does not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms and conditions and/or your Feather Paper Contract, or if Feather Paper delays in taking steps against you in respect of you breaking your contract with us, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date. For example, if you miss a payment and Feather Paper does not chase you but Feather Paper continues to provide the products, Feather Paper can still require you to make the payment at a later date. WHICH LAWS APPLY TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS AND WHERE YOU MAY BRING LEGAL PROCEEDINGS These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts.
