RedCatSilkArt

I've always loved painting and drawing, although once I had a 'real job' the art took a backseat. Up until a few ago when I picked up my pencils and paint bushes! My name is Sara, and I'm the designer behind RedCat - named after my ginger persian cat Tizer. I'm a keen artist and photographer inspired by our beautiful world. RedCat is RedCatArts which has it's heart in the environment. I'm a scubadiver so have always been a part of marine conservation, and also try hard to do my bit to cut down using plastics, recycling things where I can and taking my cotton bag on every shopping trip - hence RedCats Arts was born - a cotton bag for everything you need RedCat is also RedCatSilkShop which again reflects my love of nature and the world around me. It's designs are based on flowers, marine life, trees and celebrate the world around us. I manipulate my photos and print small runs of fabric, which I then craft into a variety of bags. I also hand paint onto silk scarves.
