• The cow and camel leather used to make this charm has been purchased from a UAE tannery that transforms new hides collected locally as a by-product of other industries into finished leathers.
• No solvents are used in the leather production, and the hanging loop has been made of camel leather cutoffs from our key fobs, making it a sustainable choice.
• Camel leather isn't readily available in the market; getting your hands on it takes a while, and there's only so much supply. It is also one of the most luxurious and durable types of leather.
• Use your cute mashalla charm with pride and comfort that once you have finished with it, it is biodegradable.
• Khalli walli is a khaleeji (Gulf) saying that translates to let it be, forget about it or whatever. It is one of the most well known expresses around the region. If you live or have lived in the UAE, you'd hear residents say it to express annoyance with a situation, with a brush of their hand and a 'khalli walli' they'll move on.
• The charm is approx 8cm x 6cm (excluding the hanging loop which is approx 3mm wide and has a hanging length of approximately 12cm).
