Art Tile, Dhow in the Sea
The dhow has sailed the waters of the Arabian Gulf for centuries. A traditional wooden vessel that carried trade, culture and community across the region long before the skylines rose. This hand-baked ceramic art tile captures that timeless image: a classic dhow cutting through the sea beneath a golden sun, rendered in Amna Al Saleh's warm, vivid and unmistakably Khaleeji style.
Each tile is an original signed work of art. Heat resistant, water resistant and versatile enough to display proudly on your wall or use as a coaster on your desk. It arrives in our signature deep red Little Majlis protective sleeve, so beautiful it practically wraps itself.
A little note from us: these tiles are crafted by a small-scale traditional artisan workshop in the Netherlands, because despite searching for over two years, we haven't yet found a local UAE manufacturer who can produce them. If you can help, we'd love to hear from you at hello@littlemajlis.com. Bringing this home is a dream we're still chasing, habibi.
Why this makes a perfect gift: A genuine collector's piece for anyone who loves UAE culture, maritime heritage or original Emirati art. Perfect for farewell gifts, housewarming gifts, corporate gifts and anyone who has ever watched a dhow sail across the Gulf at sunset.
