Camel leather bookmark - Emirati man
A kandoora. A ghutra (Hamdaniyya style, of course!). And a very good book.
This beautifully crafted camel leather bookmark features Amna Al Saleh's beloved Emirati man illustration, dressed in his crisp white kandoora, ghutra head scarf neatly wrapped in place, with the relaxed confidence of someone who has all the time in the world and intends to use some of it reading. Cut from genuine UAE camel leather with gold detailing, it is as lovely to hold as it is to look at.
Camel leather is one of the most luxurious and durable leathers in the world, and it is not easy to come by. The leather used to make this bookmark comes from a UAE tannery that transforms hides collected locally as a by-product of other industries into beautiful finished leather. No solvents are used in production. And when you have eventually finished with it, it is fully biodegradable. Sustainable living has always been part of life in the UAE. Today's Little Majlis is simply continuing that tradition.
Every bookmark comes packaged and ready to gift. A small, considered, genuinely special thing.
Why this makes a perfect gift: A brilliant gift for anyone who loves books and loves the UAE in equal measure. Perfect for farewell gifts, Eid gifts, birthday gifts and anyone who deserves something a little more special than a folded page corner. Small enough to post anywhere in the world, meaningful enough to actually matter.
