Camels have been at the centre of life in the UAE for decades and have played key roles in transportation, food, entertainment and even beauty competitions! Did you know camels have 3 sets of eye lids and 2 rows of eye lashes? This helps them to keep sand out of getting into their eyes. Their thick eyebrows also shield the eyes from the desert sun.
